Do you wish you were better at knowing what to say and how to develop a Birth Plan with parents prior to the baby’s birth when possible?

At this in-depth training, you will become more prepared, confident, and comfortable helping families at the time of their loss and over time.  Expect practical experience, multi-media, small group discussions. 

                       Some topics covered in the 10 Educational Modules— 

  • Lay the foundation for ‘why’ every parent deserve the best compassionate care, including Five Perinatal Loss Patient-centered Care Principles.
  • Birth planning, slow down the process, help prepare parents to meet their baby, palliative care, companioning at the time of loss and beyond,
  • Communication strategies with staff, family members, and parents
  • Help with hello/goodbyes, memory-making, returning to work, and more…
